Powerme is kids empowered!

Tell Powerme how you are feeling with Rabbit emojis
- join Rabbit and Charlie in understanding your emotions and what to do to look after them.

Powerme teaches you how to handle BIG emotions that feel like they are taking over your body and brain or sometimes bubbling away like a volcano about to erupt.

Everybody has feelings – even Rabbit!

This is your own special ‘power’ to use whenever you feel your emotions need a bit of help. You can use it on your own or with a friend or an adult.

It helps you understand what you are feeling and with special activities how to change those feelings especially if they are making you feel rubbish, yuk and out of control.

- choose your own avatar, symbols and colours
- create a playlist of the activities you like the best and that make you feel good
- copy Rabbit’s ‘feeling better’ dance moves

Kids need to understand their feelings and know that all emotions are ok.

Powerme is here to help young minds cope.

Parents/Guardians!
*free and no in-app purchases

Powerme teaches kids to understand how they feel inside and gives them the skills and knowledge to cope with their natural ups and downs as they grow up by connecting the mind with the body. This will not only help them now but will have a long-term effect in how they form their behaviors as they get older – a happier child leads to a happier adult.

Even adults need help with their emotions, imagine what it is like for kids?

Powerme has specifically designed coping mechanisms through:
- physical activity
- meditation
- poses which encourage the nervous system to switch from stress mode to relaxation mode
- breathing and guided imagery to reduce anxiety
All of which will make your kid feel better no matter what emotion is becoming overwhelming for them (and for you!)

Each activity video is bitesize around 30 seconds long, your child will then rate if they are feeling better or not. If they are not, that’s totally fine, Powerme generates another video coping mechanism and keeps doing so indefinitely. If your child feels better, great, Powerme still generates another video to keep improving those feelings.

- You can even join in with your child on some of the activities and work on how you are feeling together.

- Powerme will send you, parents and guardians, an email every week with an emotions report to show you what your child is feeling.

- You can have individual accounts on Powerme for multiple kids. No siblings will be able to get into each other’s accounts, so don’t worry about that.

- you will have your own pin for your child to access the app. We take your child’s privacy very seriously.

The sciency bit:

The nervous system, that’s emotions and feelings, is in charge of sending messages to and from our brain from all parts of our body. So by doing physical things it can change the way our mind works and therefore change how you are feeling and help cope with emotions. And by helping our mind process emotions and feel better it in turn helps our body. This for example is why exercise can change your mood and make us feel better.

The activities are cleverly devised to be fun, engaging but have so many powerful benefits. Not only do they help kids cope with emotions and reduce stresses and anxieties but also:
- improve motor control
- improve concentration, understanding and focus
- help with developmental skills
- improve cognitive brain function
- promote positive behaviours and feelings
- boosts energy levels
- stronger muscles and bones
- improve self-confidence and self-worth
- teaches the importance of body and mind.
- helps with reading, writing and even maths.
